New
Find vehicles by region or by distance
The Location filter is rebuilt with two ways to search.
Region lets you browse areas grouped by region, such as West or Southwest, and select the one you want. Every region option shows how many vehicles are in it before you select it, so you know what to expect before committing to it.
Distance lets you search out from a ZIP code and set a radius around it, for when you want results centered on a point rather than a whole region.
Your most-used filters sit at the top of the page
Seller, Make, Model, Year, and My Vehicles now live in a filter bar across the top of the Auctions page, so the filters you reach for most no longer need the full panel opened.
A filter panel that gets out of the way
The rest of the filters live in an All filters panel that collapses and expands, giving you more room to look at inventory. Odometer, Body, Engine, Transmission, Drive train, Fuel type, Color, Catalytic converter, Key status, Start status, Documentation, Current bid, and Auction status are all in there.
A few things worth knowing:
Choices you make in the panel are staged first and only change your results once you confirm them, so trying several options doesn't shuffle the page underneath you.
Several of the filters in this panel, such as Body and Color, let you tick more than one option at a time. Others, like Auction status, take a single choice. Both work the same way apart from the checkboxes.
When a filter is applied, the filter bar shows it with a count, and a Clear all option appears to reset everything.
Search matches more of what you'd expect
Search now matches on seller and stock number as well as make, model, year, and VIN.
Search also behaves like every other filter now: it narrows whatever you already have on screen rather than reaching outside it. Adding a keyword can only reduce your results, never widen them.
Seller disclosures when you filter to one seller
Narrowing the Seller filter to a single seller now surfaces that seller's disclosure alongside your results, so you can see their terms without opening an individual listing first.
Cleaner vehicle data behind the filters
Vehicle attribute values such as make, model, body type, color, engine, and catalytic converter are being standardized across the catalog. Previously the same vehicles could be split across inconsistent spellings, so a filter would miss inventory that should have matched it. A filter now catches every vehicle it should, instead of skipping ones recorded under a different spelling.
Improved
Bulk bidding, sorting, and layout carry over
Selecting several vehicles to bid on at once, sorting your results, and switching between grid and list views all work the way they did, fitted to the new layout on both desktop and mobile.
Filter and search fixes
The Seller filter lists sellers by name instead of by ID.
The Documentation filter returns the full set of vehicles it should, rather than fewer than expected.
Number filters accept values outside the suggested minimum and maximum.
A filtered search could report a result count and then show nothing at all. Filtered results now return the vehicles they found.
The save search window shows the seller name when a seller filter is applied.
Mobile
Notes now display in full on mobile instead of being cut off.
