When to use this article
Use this article if any of the following apply:
• You received an email from Autura Marketplace saying to expect a follow-up Avalara email, but the Avalara email has not arrived.
• You need to submit your reseller certificate or exemption documentation to have your tax exemption applied at checkout.
• You have an active sale where the price does not yet reflect your tax exemption.
Background
Autura Marketplace uses Avalara to manage sales tax exemption certificates. If you are a tax-exempt buyer, you will receive an email invitation from Avalara to submit your exemption documentation. This keeps your account compliant and ensures your tax exemption is applied at checkout.
What to do
If your Avalara invitation email went to the wrong email address
Contact Autura Marketplace support. Our team can update the email address on your Avalara profile and resend your invitation.
If you never received an Avalara invitation email
You may not have a profile set up in Avalara yet. Contact Autura Marketplace support and provide your Autura Marketplace account information. Our team will:
• Set up your Avalara profile.
• Link it to your Autura Marketplace account.
• Send you a direct link to submit your reseller or exemption documentation.
If you have an active sale and your price is not reflecting your tax exemption
1. Complete the steps above to submit your reseller documentation.
2. After submitting your documentation, wait 15 minutes and then revisit your active sale listing.
3. Autura Marketplace updates pricing after exemption documentation is processed. The updated price will be reflected within 15 minutes of your submission.

Success outcome
• You have received your Avalara invitation email and submitted your exemption documentation.
• Your active sale (if applicable) reflects the correct tax-exempt price within 15 minutes of your documentation submission.
