Before You Schedule
Your vehicle listing must be complete before you can schedule it for auction. All required fields need to be filled and at least 4 photos uploaded. See How to List a Vehicle for help completing a listing.
Step 1 — Schedule Your Auction
1. From your Selling tab, find the Draft vehicle you want to schedule.
2. Select Schedule Auction.
3. Choose your launch time: Tomorrow for a quick launch, or a specific date and time.
4. Your time zone is set automatically based on the vehicle's location. You can change it if needed.
5. Confirm the schedule.
Scheduling Rule | Details |
Earliest launch | 24 hours from now |
Latest launch | Up to 30 days in advance |
Pre-bids | Buyers can bid from the moment you schedule — before the auction goes live |
NOTE Once you schedule an auction, buyers can place pre-bids immediately. Finalize your listing details before scheduling if possible. |
Step 2 — Schedule Multiple Vehicles at Once
6. In the Selling tab, select multiple Draft vehicles.
7. Select Schedule Auction. All selected vehicles will launch at the same time.
8. Confirm. Each vehicle gets its own independent auction.
NOTE If different vehicles need different launch times, schedule them in separate batches. |
Step 3 — Monitor Your Live Auction
At the scheduled time, your auction goes live automatically.
• Minimum auction duration: 1 hour.
• If bids come in near the end, the timer extends automatically.
• Watch your current bid and bidder count from the Active filter in your Selling tab.
NOTE You cannot edit listing details once an auction is live. Contact support if you need to make a change. |
Rescheduling or Cancelling Before Go-Live
You can reschedule or cancel any time before the auction goes live.
Action | How | What to Know |
Reschedule | Select Reschedule from the vehicle card | Pre-bids carry over to the new launch time |
Cancel (Unschedule) | Select Unschedule from the vehicle card | Returns vehicle to Draft. Pre-bids are cleared. |
If Your Vehicle Does Not Sell
9. Find the unsold vehicle under the All filter in your Selling tab.
10. Select relist to create a new auction. You can update pricing and photos before scheduling.
11. Schedule the new auction as normal.
NOTE Each relist counts as a new auction run. You can relist up to 3 times on your own. After 3 runs, contact Autura support to discuss next steps. |
*Autura Marketplace achieves an 82% sell-through rate — vs. a 54-66% industry average. If a vehicle is not selling, our support team can help review your listing.*
