Have the following ready before you start:
• Your business or personal bank account and routing numbers
• A government-issued ID for identity verification
• Your business details: name, address, and tax ID if applicable

Step 7 — Schedule Your Auction
30. From the vehicle listing or your Selling tab, select Schedule Auction.
31. Choose Tomorrow for a quick launch, or pick a specific date and time.

Latest launch | Up to 30 days in advance |
Pre-bids | Buyers can bid before the auction goes live |
Change or cancel | Available from the vehicle card before go-live |
SUCCESS Auction scheduled. Vehicle status changes to Inactive. Buyers can place pre-bids. |
Step 8 — Your Auction Goes Live
At the scheduled time, your auction goes live automatically. Here is what to expect:
• The auction runs for a minimum of 1 hour.
• If bids come in near the end, the timer extends to keep the auction active.
• Monitor the current bid and bidder activity from the Selling tab.
NOTE You cannot edit listing details once an auction is live. If you need to make a change, contact Autura support. |
SUCCESS Auction active. Bids are live. |
Step 9 — After Your Vehicle Sells
When your auction ends with a winning bid:
34. The buyer is charged the full balance at time of sale through Autura Verified Payments (AVP).
35. Funds are held and released automatically when the transaction is complete.
36. The buyer receives gate code and pickup instructions automatically — no action needed on your end.

38. Go to the sold vehicle in your Selling tab and select Release Vehicle.
39. Enter the code the buyer gave you.
40. The system validates the code.
41. Confirm the release. The vehicle is marked as picked up and your payout is initiated.
WATCH OUT Always use the platform to release a vehicle. Do not release based on a verbal agreement or manual code. The system validation step protects you and creates a documented transaction record. |

If Your Vehicle Does Not Sell
If an auction ends without a winner:
• The vehicle appears under the All filter in your Selling tab.
• You can relist the vehicle. Each relist runs as a new auction.
• You can relist up to 3 times on your own. After 3 runs, contact Autura support to discuss next steps.
