Buying Power is no longer required to bid

Buying Power deposits are no longer required to place bids on Autura Marketplace. Covers what changed, refunds, and what you still need in order to bid.

You no longer need to fund a Buying Power deposit before placing a bid on Autura Marketplace. The deposit requirement has been turned off for buyer accounts, and existing deposits have been refunded. There is no longer a bidding limit tied to a deposit balance.

What you still need in order to bid

A completed Marketplace account, identity verification if the seller requires it, and a payment method on file through Autura Verified Payments. See Getting Started as a Buyer.

What happened to my deposit

If you had a Buying Power balance, it was refunded to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 1 to 3 business days of being processed.

Refunds are issued less any applicable credit card processing fees, as described in the Deposit Terms accepted at the time of the deposit. Deposits funded by ACH did not carry a processing fee and are returned in full.

My Buying Power indicator is gone

That is expected. The Buying Power indicator and the Wallet deposit controls no longer appear for accounts that do not require a deposit. Nothing is wrong with your account.

I am still being asked to fund Buying Power

A small number of accounts still have the deposit requirement in place. Start a chat with us and we will review your account.

Transaction History

Every Buying Power purchase, refund, and forfeit remains logged in the Wallet under Transaction History (Settings, then Wallet). Use this view to confirm your refund and download receipts.
